The IFTTA conference takes place in the Ceremonial Hall of the Main University building.

IFTTA Annual Conference

The 35th IFTTA Annual Conference shall be taking place in Vienna, Austria, and it is set for Tuesday 24 September and Wednesday 25 September 2024. The conference will be held in the Main Ceremonial Hall in the main building of the University of Vienna (Address Universitätsring 1, Vienna). See the red arrow on the map which you can download here. Further information and more details with regard to the Conference, registration and participation will be published on this page.


Speakers: Current known speakers presenting a paper are listed on this page. If you would like to present a paper, kindly inform IFTTA at hello@iftta.org and we will try to integrate this in one of the sessions.so that we could start planning the agenda of speakers.

Accommodation: There are several hotels suggested by the conference organisation, which are all nearby the university conference location. Bookings must be made by you directly at the hotel or using your travel agent. Hotel costs are excluded from the conference fee. The conference negotiated special rates with some of these hotel, which are only available if you book directly at the hotel. Please note the rate remarks for each hotel how to book or identify yourself as a conference attendee.

Flights: There are many direct flights to Vienna or with one or multiple stops. Please consult the airline or your travel agent for the best schedules and fares. You need to book the flights well in advance. Costs for flights are excluded.

Excursion: On the second day we offer a visit to the Vienna Fine Art Museum which is located appr. 1km south of the main building of Vienna University (admission included in the conference fee).
