A express or implied promise that the property or service in a contract is suitable for the particular purpose desired by the buyer (e.g., a travel Web site is suitable for booking a traveler’s flight from Seattle to Los Angeles), sometimes called “warranty of fitness.” This is opposite of the warning that items are sold “as is.”
